Freeworlds: Tides of War is a fan built Star Wars total conversion mod for Digital Anvil's Freelancer game that was released several years ago. When fans began to make mods for Freelancer, one of the many things people were keen on seeing was a Freelancer mod based on the Star Wars universe developed by George Lucas. Freeworlds and Tides of War were the answer to this outcry. The development team of both mods have now joined forces to create an epic new Star Wars TC, Freeworlds: Tides of War.
An in-progress look at the ISD's death sequence.
its so pretty :) the best star destroyer is a dead star destoryer :)
The best Star Destroyer is the one that you control,so many things to do with it,like barrel rolls!
agreed :)
thats incredible, maybe a feature could be scalable debris numbers, because some computers will never run that many fragments, they'd sooner delete their own windows.
unless of course you've done some coding wizardry, which you have been doing recently you rascally devs
There are only around 15-25 material debris pieces. The rest is some clever visual trickery using effects :)
Man, oh MAN, that's pretty! If an Imperial Star Destroyer began to look like in the video, I'd get the *$#^ out of its way!
jaw dropping
nice work!!!
^ what he said
Holy mother of all death sequences, this is pure epic awesomeness with a power level of over 9000 @_@ . I can't wait to destroy one of those.
That is by far the best death clone I have ever seen for a Star Destroyer.
also, can I send you the bill for the surgery I need to have my lower jaw reattached?
it's be amazing if you could get them to snap in half
And so we edge ever closer to the day I scuttle one of these enormous pointy sods.
