Freeworlds: Tides of War is a fan built Star Wars total conversion mod for Digital Anvil's Freelancer game that was released several years ago. When fans began to make mods for Freelancer, one of the many things people were keen on seeing was a Freelancer mod based on the Star Wars universe developed by George Lucas. Freeworlds and Tides of War were the answer to this outcry. The development team of both mods have now joined forces to create an epic new Star Wars TC, Freeworlds: Tides of War.

Just to give everyone some context:

FriendlyFire has made radar pings that are symbols which tell the player what class of vessel it is and what faction the ship belongs to. As the player approaches the vessels they will disappear. That being said, the player can also turn off pings all together by a simple key stroke.

It truly is a Head-Up-Display for FL.

Just related to multiple cores. The video was taken with the server and the client running on the same system.

I gotta hand it to all you guys ! You sure keep coming up with many more ingenious ideas. Makes me miss playin' along side you all even more! I hope some day my cousin can get everything working however i doubt i will be able to start where Joe_Ker and i left off when my comps were getting worked on. Also i even wonder if my computers will be able to handle it all. Wish i could buy a bunch of brand new ones.
