Frontline Chaos is a Total Conversion mod for C&C Generals Zero Hour. It will replace the original sides, and introduce two brand new armies: Revenant and Legion. The mod's goals are to supply a completely new story, including campaigns for both sides, and a balanced and fun multiplayer experience.

Something to make the vehicles look less like one blob of colour: edge lines to define plates on the vehicle. Something I picked up from a completely different hobby

Myeah, but the problem is: that are First Person Shooter models where you can clearly see little details and effects. Here you either don't have the room, or they end up as small blobs on your model.
But I do the same techniques and my models somehow look pretty cool in Zero Hour, dont they? :P
Just give it a try before you judge! ^^
Instead of a dark ooutline, try a light one, as the tutorial says edge elct more light... I think it would make this model look way better
A bit better, but it still kinda looks like a single blob of color (especially beside that bright red HC) :P Some beveling and shading would make those plates more visible
If I'm in a skinning mood again, I'll see what I can do. I had a burst of inspiration yesterday and I really need those to stay focussed for these kind of jobs =P
