1. Download the 0.5.0 installer
2. Run the installer, following instructions, select your mods folder as installation directory e.g
C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\mods
3. It should look like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\Mods\foc_enhancements
There is an example shortcut in your /mods/ directory
4.Right Click the EXAMPLE SHORTCUT.ink file and click properties.
5. n the Target box make sure this points to your swfoc.exe for example (quotation marks needed)
"C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\swfoc.exe"
6a. On the End put: MODPATH=Mods\foc_enhancements
6b.. Should look like this:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\swfoc.exe" MODPATH=Mods\foc_enhancements
7. In the "Start In" box make sure this points to your Forces of Corruption directory, e.g.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Lucasarts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption"
7b. Click apply and use the shortcut (or the unnoficial modlauncher) to play!
8. If you cannot do it PM me and i will make your shortcut for you!
I have not been able to have this mod execute with my steam install of Empire at War Gold edition/FOC. Do you have any suggestions on how to counter this problem?
I can answer this, as just fixed it myself.
Install the mod to your Steam folder "c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\Mods" (you will need to make the Mods folder).
Then, go into steam, right click on the game and select "Properties".
Click "Set Launch Options".
Type MODPATH=Mods\foc_enhancements
Now launch FOC via Steam, and it should work.
