Whats that white thins coming from the eclipse? Looks weird, And you have to change the velocity of turning left or right to the eclipse, if its a big ship.... Have to be slow, just my thoughs great job you have there!
The white thing is not white really, it is more as a normal tractor beam and it is alternative tractor beam, it slows enemy starships.
About the movement.This EAW and really you can not avoid the fast turns from a starship added like this. You can try it, even if you reduce the turn speed, you will see it again making this. I have been modding this game many years and I have tested most of all. I have added some new code but there are not anything for avoid this.
