I have improved the IA at skirmiss. This video show you a battle between the Republic and CIS, yes the Republic won easily and fast but it was only a test, I was not playing too much, I builded a few units and I saw what happened. The point is one IA building everything and giving a good fight, I have improved it and the lag playing skirmiss vs IA.
But remember if you see any incomplete thing at the video, do not worry, I have all my live for improve it more.;)
to be honest: i don't like the ai improvement.
people have been saying that skirmish is too hard for them a lt of times. you said you wouldn't release an easier AI or a patch. that's fine. but making the AI even harder... i don't think some people might not appreciate it. don't get me wrong, i'm up for a challenge. but sometimes they come with an armyof their best units and lots of fighters and just keep laying a siege on my base.
I make the mod for me and I do not like a IA which I can defeat easily. When more harder, more hours I can play it.

When this happens try deploying as much as heroes as possible, they can change the tide of the battle with their abilities and reinforcement units
It is not as you say because the IA does not deploy reinforments always and at least now it does not build batallon commanders at skirmiss, one thing that a human player can make.
What is skirmiss? :O
