For many time I had a problem with the darker unit icons, I play with a lower gamma value than the defaults value and I had many problems for recognize this icons because they look too dark. Now I have fixed it for show them better. Perhaps you do not like it but for me it is a lot better.
Perhaps some of you because your color settings for your screen are very different, you will not see nothing different at these two screenshots but if you use a lower level of color for your screen and a lower level of gamma playing, you will see better the darker units.
I do notice the icons are smaller, what's the point even making them smaller it doesn't even make the box around them smaller or the ones on the build bar?
There is a very good point with this. The mod has a lot of icons and if I use the original 50x50 pixels, the tga file where the icons are saved would be bigger of 16mb. When it happens many people with older graphic cards can not load the game without a lot of graphic problems.
