These are the turrets from my Clone Wars mod released many time ago only at my own site. I have seen lately how some people think that they can copy all the ideas from my mods without credit me. These things could make with models from Battlefront games, yes it is true. But they were not as you see and they were designs developed by me for the game.
At least now, you can judge it and discover how they were not the first because my mods were released many time before than most of all the other mods.
I am confused. How are we stealing an idea from you? It doesn't make sense when we are choosing turrets we want to put in our own mods :/

The design from the turrets is very similar. Battlefront turrets were not thought at first place for nothing equal to EAW and I was the first who he added them for this.
You can tell you all you want but at least you should give me this credit.
But remember that I do not say that people can not use this system. Only I do not agree that they sell it as a original new idea from them.
Ok. But what I am getting at is that it is just a turret. If we make our own models of the same turret, do we have to give you credit? To be honest, it sounds kind of silly :) And some people who have not played your mod might not have seen this.

A idea is a idea. If I start to copy your idea, what would you think? probably you would not be happy. It is a matter of to be honest and diplomatic. You should see give credit as a investment for the future. Specially at this case because I have made a lot of new features and things like these.

But three of them are from battlefront...So sure in a way they are copying you, but you're copying a very popular game.

We are speaking from the idea. There is a point of difference. I was the first with the idea from use these as a EAW/FOC turret. Battlefront has not builded turrets like these, it has only the basic models.
Pretty big bunch half of stuff (units,planets,etc.) in Nomada's mod had already been used in other mods before. Sooo, by Nomada's logic he had stolen ideas of all of it. Kinda hypocrite to accuse others in stealing if you are a thief yourself.

Sorry but we are not speaking from it and who was first the chicken or the egg? the first version from this mod was released the year 2006 and I have more of 20 pages of credits.
But your logic is not my logic. I´m speaking from the idea of use this turrets and their style.
Other point is how I´m not claiming credits, permissions or other things. It is a matter of be honest. If people want ignore this, very well. But when you want make other things which I can claim credits and permissions, do not tell me nothing.
The_Dark_Side is not steeling your Idea. I know from just looking at his mod page that he is dedicated to everything in his mod. The Clone Wars IS a vary popular Time Period for EaW mods. No one is not steeling from your ideas. But only if they look at your picture and copy it from your design they are. The_Dark_Side is NOT at fault, neither anyone else that seeks this model that they make by themselves.

We were not speaking from The_Dark_Side. In fact I have not accused to nobody. Only I say that it is a complete lack of originality because I made it first. The other point can be how I discovered to some people stealing my work without authorization. Now they can tell that they are not taking nothing. But I do not trust at them.

People, we will see what happen when some special people start to try copy other ideas, code, special units and more. Perhaps they will remember because they were not more diplomatic.
Geroenimo, you can not post here, I will delete all your answers, you can return to your pitiful homeworld. I do not want nothing from you, at the end, only coming insults and bad words from you. Nothing more.
But how do you know they tried to copy your idea? Yes, you may have come up with it first, but this turret design is from a best-selling game, that many, many people have, so I don't think it is out of the question that somebody could have been playing Battlefront 2, saw this turret, and though "I wonder how this would look in my EAW mod" and added it into their mod.
I do not claim nothing. Only I show what could be the very possible origin from the idea. But when somebody is discovered ripping the work of others as if it was their work, you can think bad with other things.
Of course you can not tell me how I can not judge it as a lack of originality when I made it many time before.
If they took your actual model then there would be a problem but until then it would be similar to you adding a Venator to EAW. You might have been the first and it might even be the best model but other will probably do it.
But I want that the people know that if they copy my ideas without give me credit and ask me, I will make threads like this and you or other have not nothing which it proofs how I´m wrong.
And people should be advised, there are a lot of other things which I have made first than nobody and probably there are not other ways for make them. For people which they insulted me and my work, I will pursue them. For other people, I will ignore it.

It is not strange, some pitiful people which they can not post here and of course to use absolutely nothing from me, they waste their time making it.
The funny thing is how it gives more publicity to my section and at the end, it does not make nothing bad to me.:)
Pointing fingers and all that other mess aside, I think that adding these models and turrets in Alliance Mod would be a wonderful idea, having only six turret options while the units have a staggering amount of depth and variety is a bit disappointing
At this case, they will be the turrets from the Republic and CIS. You will be able play with them at skirmiss.
