The mod focuses on enhancing the characteristics of each unit corresponding to the theme that its clan represents. This is not a mod that makes changes for the sake of gameplay balance. So in general: Lotus units are quick, populous, resilient, easy to kill early on but really hard to kill should they tier up. Wolves are tough all around, but it takes time to build up their (relatively small) army. Dragons and Serpents are in the middle of the road. Dragons and Lotus are quicker to accumulate Yin/Yang, while Serpents and Wolves are less so. Attack damage from every weapon is the WYSIWYG variety; if that oversized mallet from the Sledger looks really painful, then it is. This also means that some attacks are pitifully weak (think of the punches from Geishas). The same rule applies to how resilient a unit is; if it's small, scrawny and skinny, then it ain't gonna last long in a fight. Vice versa for the big and armoured ones.
