well, thats how big they are in real-life too
Indeed, in most FPS games the size of the viewmodels make it seem as if you are firing the gun from the shoulder and close to your face, when the playermodel animations usually depict them being fired from the hip.

It looks realistic. This isn't UT where the guns have the size of small cars^^
