The Vindicator was an older design of cruiser first created shortly after the onset of the galactic civil war as a patrol or support ship, to fill the gap between light frigates and heavy destroyers. While moderately armed and armored, its low cost of construction and versatility made it a mainstay in the Imperial Remnant armada.
