Far Crab is an Half-Life modification, using a new enhanced code, from Raven City. The mod story takes place after the HL1 adventure. Gordon Freeman, when he enters in the portal to accept G-Man proposition, is caught by another teleporter used by scientists blocked in the Black Mesa complex to escape from here. Gordon and the scientists could escape and advise at the World the Xen invasion and the massacre made by the G-Man's soldiers. G-Man escaped to an island where he built a secret Black-Mesa like base to study the Xen creatures. During this time, Freeman, considered as an hero for killing Nihilanth, was on holidays on a yacht, but it was destroyed during a storm. Freeman wake up on a beach, one of the island where G-Man is...

Allow me introduce myself, I am Shepard the Far Crab Coder, ArrangeMent Beta Tester and EX-Plasma Mapper.
We have a bad and good news to say, I'm going to start with the bad one :
The bad news : Game Over for KillerMapper
KillerMapper's parents decide to stop their Internet registering after the left of his brother. Because they think that being more than 30 minutes on the PC is like being a geek no-life.
Yesterday (July 26th 2009), KillerMapper left his house for holidays, for Far Crab, he loose the strenght to continue, 4 years of developments, why ? Because of the parents, but recent games (HL2 and episodes, TF², L4D Demo) and also he was needed of Mario Kart : Source.
The good news : Far Crab is not dead and have new developers

I just played the demo. It's really good. However, it didn't really have a good narrative. Without a good story, it can be very hard to keep a player interested. I might be able to help you out with the story and translation if you're interested.
I am quickly learning italian, which is very similar to french supposedly. I might be able to help out in translation in the future.
