In 2015 a war raged through the world. Every nation found themselves in a position where they had only two options, kill or be killed. Finally after 3 years of brutal murders a group of terrorists acquired a nuclear bomb that had the strength to cause death to all countries of the world. While feeling very pleased with themselves the terrorists launched this bomb in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Doing so didn't cause the complete destruction that it was capable of. Many were pumped full of radiation and left for the mutations to occur. 70 years later you were born.
*note - This is not a final storyline. Editing WILL be done*

This a mod for Mount&Blade version 1.011.
We have released demo versions of this game on the Taleworlds forums
but have yet to do so on moddb. Sorry about that, but we don't want anyone thinking its a full version and then forgetting all about the mod.

Recruiting
We require previous work in order to join the team. If you don't have any work to show us then I, spiritwind, will give you a small project complete before you will be let into the development scene on the fallout team. If you are interested in joining then simply send me a pm telling me what your interested in.
We are currently open in the following fields.
Texture Artist
You must be able to make HIGH quality textures that mesh together really well and do not look like blocks from far distances.
Advanced Modeler
You must have tons of experience in the modeling fields. You must be able to export all models into .obj format. You must also know how to texture and skin all types of models, weapons, scene props, trees, bla bla bla, and add them efficiently in mount&blade through .brf format.
Python Coder/Programer
You must be pretty skilled with this field and know how to work mount&blade efficiently 100% through he module python files.
Scene Editor
You must have tons of experience with the fallout team and with the program that mount&blade provided for modders to edit the scenes. We will accept no *just learning* people in this field. You must be able to use your imagination and create reality based wasteland towns and maps.
Map Editor
You must have a ton of skill in the M&B map editor utility and be able to create realistic looking maps based on the fallout 2 map grid. We will also not accept any *just learning* people in this field. We currently have a basic map of the fallout 2 map grid but it does not look geologically correct.
Voice Actors
We are currently greatly recruiting voice actors. We are going to try and get as many characters to speak their dialogs as possible! So if you have good equipment to record your voice, great voice acting skills, and experience with the fallout mod then this is the position for you!

Wheene: Contributed a lot of awesome weapons such as the glock23c, gauss pistol, gauss rifle, and much more. He also did the power armor, however the textures and uv mapping of these models were done by current members.

We plan to have an update that will include all the untextured guns remade, in game textured and working 100%, along with a few new quests and less problems! This should be expected around December 10th!
I apologize for the lack of updates. The team has been busy with RL stuff and has not been able to make time for the mod these last couple of months. Things are looking better however and we are going to be giving a great push towards revival!

Although it may not be often, the Fallout team indeed will be releasing more content to the public.
Times have been rough, many of our team members are struggling to find time to develop, and the few active members cannot do everything by themselves, therefore we are really pushing the fact that we are recruiting to try and get skilled developers to bring the Fallout mod awesome content that will blow its players minds away. If you are interested then please send Spiritwind51 a pm and he will forward an application to you.

INFO ON THE RELEASES;
The public releases features most of our material, but some that is not complete. You will see a few weapons with placeholder textures that really look like crap, the reasoning is lack of a UV mapper or someone to apply textures. The main fallout towns are also incomplete as we are working on creating scene props before we can ever establish them. Currently most of the Characters are in San Fransisco so the player can easily find them.
As patches come, which will most likely be often, you will gradually start to see our progress. Hopefully if we recruit more people to the team the content in them will increase and improve substantially.
Once our coding side increases much more and some of the major scripts that are being worked on is complete, our public releases will most likely come to a halt until we start making official releases, which hopefully wont be too long.

Love the guns in it, though apparently there isn't a mesh for the colt or something, and would definately, definately play the finished version or even the beta! (which i don't normally do)
Couple of bugs/things which i encountered; when you fire a crossbow it freezes (well at least it did once! Was in the arena doing a tournament), i seemed to be running across open wasteland for a longg time before i encountered anything, and the lords don't seem to travel around (i wanted to try my gun on them and their men haha). Maybe fill it with more creatures etc.
Maybe make some creatures that attack no matter what? I get somewhat sick of just fighting lords when you're very strong. I havn't played fallout, so no idea of the creatures, but maybe put in an/a few insanely powerful creatures that attack whatever, causing heavy casualties, but a fun battle. Maybe massive ones?

A quick question. My computer for somereason has trouble installing downloadable things, so i prefer ZIP files. Could you think of a way that i could get this mod for v1.011
hey umm anyone else find it hard to download mods for the Steam version of Mount and Blade can someone help me i got 1 mod to work but this one wont show up on the list of Mods
on the next update we hand out we will do research and figure out what it takes for mods to be steam compatible.
I really hope to see the final version of this someday ..

No, but if we get a multiburst in one shot script then it will be =).
It will take place in New California and reach more into Oregon and a little into the Fallout 1 areas.
