More content for the grim darkness of the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
1st the Scything Talons for the Tyranids, the soon to be main close combat weapon for the Tyranid Warrior. Although unskinned its another of Darkwulfs 'nid weapons, think organic crowbar of doom, it slices, it dices...
2nd the "Specialist" marine, or as hes better known in the 40K universe, the Beekie (guess why?). He will be in charge of hauling arround all the bigger (and also more dangerous) guns, such as the Heavy weapons and the special weapons. A example of that being the Heavy Bolter and the Meltagun.
3rd the landraider, Created by Stray over at the Essence of Combat 40k mod and skinned by Chromeangel this is the pinacle of Marine Tank technolagy. This heavily armoured tank is both a gun platform and a APC. This allows both massive firepower from its two twin linked lascannons and twin linked heavy bolter and a payload of marines to finish whats left or take objectives.
woot cant wait to feel the wrath of the emperor
So keep up the sweet renders :)
Well it's lucky they're not so strict about it. Many mods have had hard work go to waste because of legal action, I would hate it to happen to another one.
Good work :)

nice texturing :):)
I'm not a fan of Warhammer 40k, but that looks stunning! Looks exactly how it should be - great work!
How exactly do you intend to release this mod when the copyright dude's find out about your mod?
yes were fighting nids, although the IMperial Guard will be taking a camio role in the game, being their to support you the players as AI for the Imperium.
Special Imperial Guard Storm trooper Class *flutters eyes*...Imperial Guard forever! Long live the anvil!
LOl modding is free, anything we do wont break theyre copyright breaches dumass...argh hwo can u be so dum
Any use of copywrite materials is illegal, no matter how free your mod is. This is a common misconception - Games Workshop can easily have you C&D'd if they so wish, because you are using copywrite materials without prior consent. Just because the mod is free, you don't have the right to use their intellectual property.
Be careful - you don't want work like this going to waste.
As you do not sell the mod, use material from outside the games workshop universe or any other game, gain sponsership which includes getting your mod on a coverdisk of a computer games magazine.
Read their legal section.
You guys are so gonna get sued...
I hope you realise those risks - but you have done your homework, so congrats for that. So many mods fall into the IP theft trap, and nearly all are either mis-informed or have no knowledge whatsoever of copywrite laws. At least you've taken the time to find out the legal implications of your mod, so well done to you :)
Whoops, I've been mis-spelling copyright :P
Learning form our earlier legal success with Rival Species, we have been very careful to ensure that all our content is our contributor's original creations (or based on content from HL2 DM which is allowed under their license) to make sure that none of Games Workshop's (GW) copyrighted materials are infinged. The cost of this is eternal vigilence on my part regarding contributions...
The area where we are at GW's mercy is our use of their trademarks. Wherever possible we have striven to legaly clarify GW's sole ownership of their trademarks in all potentialy infinging media. If and when Exterminatus is popular enough to make GW or one of their commercial licencees feel threatened we will cross that bridge when we come to it.
Thank you all for your concern. Don't worry folks it's all under control.
