This mod is set in Games Workshop's, great Warhammer 40,000 ( 40k ) universe. Each map pits Imperial Space Marines against the Tyranid swarm and the Legions of Chaos, competing in a series of mission objectives, culminating in a battle to decide the fate of the planet. A carnifex has me in his sights, I do hope my battle brothers in the outpost can save me, because the boltgun will hardly scratch his scaly hide.
Beta tester Geist Heller roars defiantly in voice chat as three marine testers rain bolter fire down on his Carnifex. The carnifex or "fex" as we tend to call it is a real tank of class, able to soak up huge amounts of punishment.
