This mod is set in Games Workshop's, great Warhammer 40,000 ( 40k ) universe. Each map pits Imperial Space Marines against the Tyranid swarm and the Legions of Chaos, competing in a series of mission objectives, culminating in a battle to decide the fate of the planet. In this shot we see the marine team trying to capture the final objective on the ex_Lycantium map. On the hill in the background we can see a pair of marines, that have just been hit by the venom cannon the cameraman is using.
In the middle ground we see a tyranid warrior standing over the body of a fallen biovore.
The venom cannon has been tuned for better balance since the 7.25 beta, keeping it powerful enough to be the ultimate reward for tyranid players, but not so powerful as to make it in-balanced.
