Story

  • Your Mission:

    • You are a crew member of Vortex Rikers2, which will get a signal from the planet (Na Pali). The message came from 3 survivors of the old Vortex Rikers, the prisoner ship that crashed on the planet some months ago.
    Now you will be let down on the planet to rescue these 3 survivors. Unfortunately you were sniped down by a Skaarj right after you landed.

  • New mission:

    • Rescue your own ass. You are in a Skaarj prison, they destroyed all your equipement. You'll have to try to get out of the prison and find the old Vortex Rikers. If you are lucky it's computers are still working and you can send a message to your mothership, so they can come rescue you....

Overview
Operation Na Pali is one of the best Single Player mods out there, with great detailed landscapes, intense fighting sequences, and great Cut-Scenes at the beginning and end of the mission, detailing what has exactly happened too you. There is a total of around 40 maps in the story, taking you to Old, Ruined Temples, Vast, Mining Complexs, and into one of the old Vortex Rikers. Completing the Game will get you Secrets for you to enjoy, and one of the best Credits ever.

The ONP website recently got closed down due to activity, but a backup was saved and uploaded to UT-Files. ( Onp.ut-files.com ) Long live ONP!

A full length game, really. Played it twice. The mod overview summarises the great points. Mostly really good, professional quality maps, some huge, most have good artwork and some are beautiful. Great action. Good music. Just a pity about the voice acting and occasional Nali dodgy pathfinding. Still, a fantastic, free game.

LOVED it, until the entry to the Kralljar Mines... Every time I tried to get into that level, UT crashed. Had to stuff around with a whole heap of crap in UnrealEd so I could skip the level... Ended up making ONP-CAKE map of the Kralljar Mines MAIN map. All in all an AWESOME mod. The Follower system MORE than made up for the bugs. Secret B was dissapointing, though... But not telling why :P

Amazing mod. I started playing this mod the day it came out and I stuck with it until it finally became inactive. I would love to see a server running ONP again, I miss ONP co-op!
