Excessive is a Half Life 2: Episode Two modification which development is oriented to be part of my game design curriculum, a small laboratory whre I can improve my skills. The rules I'll follow to make it are: - Only level design modifications: I'll only use Hammer to develop this mod, there will be no mew textures, models, animations or coding. - Each chapter will introduce at least one innovation to their predecessor: first map will be focus on color and lighting and its use to improve the gameplay,second map will focus on other theme,... Please note that the objective of this mod is to improve my curriculum and enjoying everyone who plays it so I'm making this page only for testing and distributing it. This is no a great mod, a large mod or a mod that will shock anyone.
This is de v0.15 version of Excessive: an approach to game design curriculum. If you have played v0.1, you will find the same content but improved with the help of many users that played it before, so I only recommend you to play this if you liked the v0.1 a lot or for bug tacking. Thank you!!!
Impressive. I like this very much. Except fighting combine with shotgun from third floor is not very effective :) Changing shotguns to pistol could be better. Visually I liked it a lot. CC is used very good. Also I like the building across the park. You're doing great.
Thank you for your support Jokerme. The use of shotgun is well planned: I don't want you high and shooting, and want the player going down to the center of the fighting ;-)
