Doom: Evil Unleashed is a mod geared towards recreating the content including maps, weapon, monsters, items and more from the Doom 0.5 Alpha. To play Doom: Evil Unleashed all you need is a standard copy of Doom 2, no ZDoom. Just Vanilla Doom 2! The mod has had some speedbumps recently. My harddrive was wiped and with it I lost my first bit of work but luckily I saved a bit on my other computer, so not all is lost. I am just now starting work again on Evil Unleashed. "Evil Unleashed" comes from the Doom's In Development name and subtitle. During development, in early versions the game was referred to as "Evil Unleashed" and in the 0.5 beta "Evil Unleashed" was a subtitle to the finalized name "Doom". Seeing the content I am recreating I thought of this to be the perfect name for the mod. I am actively searching for team members to help out with the development of "Evil Unleashed". Including someone skilled with XWE or other things.

Well the name yeah... But I am not basing this as much on 0.4 and the Doom Bible as 0.5 so...
Sorry for recent inactivity. I have been very busy with life. The mod is by no means dead but on hold due to some personal circumstances.

Well good luck with this, I don't really play standard Doom anymore as I have been playing almost everyday since it came out. I just got for Weapon and randomization MODs nowadays. :-)
