I like to announce EVE: RTS (work name) It's a mod about EVE Online developed by myself, featuring ships and other objects directly from the original Game. Models and Textures were extracted using TriExporter. CCP confirmed that I can use their Artwork. (see end of summary)

I would Like to, but EVE Skyboxes resolution is much too low for homeworld 2 -.-'

I tried it. It could work if there is someone who could convert the eve background texture to a resoltuion of 4096x4096 (That the resolution of the background you see there if I'm correct.)
Currectly they are 256x256, 512x512 or 1024x1024. (so pretty low) They look good in eve no question - but well they where made for it XD.

hmm, well the team from sins of new eden got the skyboxes to work in sins, so you might be able to ask there, but I have no idea what res they are

Long timer there has not been any update.
But the last two days I got something done. I have completly rewritten the code for the Sector mode. At the moment I will not include the Miner animation. As it's a hack with an attack scipt it also used pretty much performance and also was the reason for random battle reports.

To compensate this and a lot of other problems I have the folloing plan.
The Sectors not get - in addition to their initiate incomegenerating objects or scene objects some buildpoints. At this positions you could then build a single Station or platform to fullfill economic or military tasks. It should also provide the possibility to "fortify" a sctor. But we'll see.

Only a small report and eyecandy so you see that the mod is still alive.
