I like to announce EVE: RTS (work name) It's a mod about EVE Online developed by myself, featuring ships and other objects directly from the original Game. Models and Textures were extracted using TriExporter. CCP confirmed that I can use their Artwork. (see end of summary)

I think I could make it even better - and maybe the Collectors Player Controlled or at least playable if I take 1-2 Players out. So a Maximum of 4 Active players could Battle it out, while 1-2 Players are only for AI / Gamemode Background control.

What do you think ? Acceptable or not a really a good idea?

well, if you dont have them player controlled the players will be able to focus more on combat and strategy, letting the economy run itself with minimal interaction (catpuring new sectors and research). Which could be good, could be bad... takes out a little of the overall rts skill, but adds more to another aspect of the gameplay.

as far as giving up the slots to allow it, I have two other friends who i play hw2 with, so having 3v3 would be nice, but 3v2 and upping the difficulty would compensate well. Plus, you still have 2v2...

overall i can see pros and cons to both... whichever flows best is my preferance :P

I do agree with Cingularity.

Maybe the difference between ships type should be increasse
making each type more effective egaints each type so it will be more important to micro manage your units...And as a huge fan of world in conflict I do beleve that supress macro gestion is a very fun and effecitve way to play. Its gonna be awsome

So we could read it like this

Fregate killed by destroyer, killed by Battle Cruiser, killed by Battleship, killed by fregate.

Fighter are able to make some dommage any-where needed, complete attack and give pressure on strategic points. especaly good to break well proteced ship lines.

Description

This morning I managed to finish Procurer and Retriever.
All Asteroids and Miners are completly reimported, wich results in smoother asteroids.

The Mining Beam should be finished now. It may not look like the EVE version but I like it and I think that there might be other effects wich may not look like vanilla eve ones in the final version.

I think you all would agree, that this would not really matter if it still looks good right? ^^

The Sector Income is now working like intended.
