but at :39 it shows what looks like a corvette i guess being destroyed..and when it gets destroyed it just disappears..so im guessing the big ships won't break apart when they are destroyed?

wow, looks slick.
when the ship 'takes off' though, it looks a bit weird. it's like instant speed, no acceleration/thrusters involved.
It's a fighter so it's quite snappy with speed changes. The heavier ships take a while to speed up.
