Description

I've already given a long description of the new Vengeance, so here I'll talk a little about the Keldabe. (Though I do want to mention how damed irritating it was to get those god forsaken gatlings to spin properly) As I already stated, only the hero variant of the Keldabe will have this ability, the normal Keldabe will have the fireports removed and will have a different ability, not sure which one yet.

Basically 2 giant death beams. I'd say inspired by but it is basically completely ripped off of Gawain's Hadron Cannons in Code Geass. At the end of the vid you can see that it's perfectly able to destroy groups of enemy ships, should they clump up and you can get them all in one swing. The weapon itself only fires when the fireports are open, when they are, the ship losses 90% of all mobility, so you can't just go running around with the fireports open. Simpely close the fireports (s foils ability) if you want to get moving. The weapon has a lengthy cooldown too, so you wont be death beaming everything to... death? And ofcourse it'll be a lot more expensive than the regular Keldabe.

Overall a lot of coding work went into this, trying to figure out how to have those hadron cannons firing, only when the ship has the s foils "locked" was a huge pain, the deploy ability doesn't work out with space ships, no animation there, so I had to figure out a workaround, which I eventually did. After THAT there was the age old problem where the ship turns to its side when ordered to attack, so the hadron cannons can't fire (they only have a 10 degree fire angle) and finding a work around for that took a lot longer than I wanted too. The damned gatlings of the Vengeance were a huge pain too. Should you wonder, no having all 4 cannons fire at the same time, though rare, is not actually overpowered, the mass driver projectile it fires is a weaker version of the original.

And there you go, Keldabe and Vengeance finished aswell,
