A new kitbashed TIE Fighter molded by the Hand of the Dutchman.

TIE Avenger added to the Empire.
The production model of Vader's X1 Advanced prototype, the Avenger is a fast interceptor on par with the TIE Interceptor, but sports rapidly regenerating interceptor shields, dual medium chin lasers instead of light, and a warhead launcher. Its small target profile makes it harder to hit than its bulky successor, the TIE Defender, this also gives it an edge against enemy torpedo and missile fire. It is significantly cheaper than the TIE/D, allowing for mass production.

It is however, certainly less powerful than the more versatile TIE Defender, and the Avenger lacks its ion cannons or advanced proton torpedoes, and replaces its AP missile with a more dogfight oriented concussion missile, debuffing enemy starfighters firepower by 85% for 8 seconds upon impact. A better comparison would be to the Rebellions A-wing, minus its passive missile jammer and wide vertical fire arcs on its light repeating lasers, it adds two medium chin laser cannons and due to its small target profile and high agiliy/speed, it remains a very impressive dogfighter.
