Some shots from testing, ground combat might be getting shown soon(tm)
A lot of the art assets shown here are from Awakening of the Rebellion and Battlefront Commander, credit to them for the wonderful assets we are allowed to use, and Kasderan for all the work he's been putting into the ground combat.
Will ground combat be comparable to AotR. And when can we expect to play this
Remake's ground combat is inspired by AotR but quite different. Focus on realistic (as far as this is possible in EAW) and overall long range combat.
As for when - if things continue to progress as fast as recent, I'd say we will enter beta in around 2 months
personally I find the how AotR does ground combat as the perfect new remake to the combat with the different tiers of units and each unit having a use, so I am glad that this mod is going to be inspired and put their own spin on it, cant wait to see how it turns out

This will be glorious. Hopefully the At-ats will have pink colored plasma bolts like in the movies. I mean playing this mod has made me FEEL like its in the movies!
