Unfortunatly, it is with great regret to inform that the mod is no longer active. It hasn't been for well over 7 months now.
Even if we wanted to pick the project up again, we couldn't, all of the assets were erased in a hard drive reformat. (always the way)
We want to say thank you to everyone who supported us (yes even the ones who yelled at us to hurry up), it was a fun experience. I cannot release any information yet, but a future project from Black Jaguar Studios will use the Source Engine. Keep an eye out on the front page of our website.
Again, thank you to everyone who urged us to finish it, it was alot of fun while it lasted.
Between here and our last update, the team has gone through huge roadbumps, so sorry the progress has been going a little slow.
But here we go, we got 7 new screens of Burg by John, a new wallpaper (also showing off some progress) and other news.

Code progress is getting more complete each day. All weapons work properly and general gameplay tweaks are getting done.
map progress: edm_burg is done. Well, needs a light or two more, but other than that, Burg is now playable and will definitly be seen on alpha release as an official map.
Our custom jukebox is also in the works, able to dynamicaly load music files from a given directory to allow you to play our songs licensed to us, or your own music of what you see fit.
Many other things to come. Please be sure to keep us on track!

our character models, hah, we dont realyl have a set theme. Much like Quake3 i guess. Not one of the characters ever really looked or felt the same. So i guess anything would do really.
Actually something liek this will be in a contest im thinking of setting up..
What are the player models going to be like? You really have nothing much to look off of considering how crappy quakes textures were. You can hardly see eyes!
And if you go for an updated marine look, wont the guns look funny?

We will no longer be tolerating meaningless bad comments. We like "cool" and "awsome" because that shows that were probably on the right track, or so it seems. But if you dont like something, let us know. Simply saying "This looks like ***" doesn't really help us out at all. These comments will no longer be tolerated and will be deleted on sight.
I'm working on that in my map. :)
The SDK could do with some better documentation, I give you that.
We're saying crappy source engine because its terrible to work with and Valve is awfull at compiling a decent SDK.
