And apparently people still think that the team has finished the mod, but for some unknown illogical idiotic reason they're not letting us have the pleasure of playing it because ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED?! O_o
MOTY is a (and I quote) "a celebration of the years finest mods chosen by you and us". It doesn't matter if the mod is released or not (and btw Edain already has a released version 3.8.1 and it's awesome by all measures).

Everything is in german except this ''we need your vote!'' thing. Strange, isn't it?. I'll tell you something, ''we need english translation'' first...
The english translation will be available with version 4.0. As said nearly everything is translated, but as the tesxts of 4.0 are very different to the texts of 3.81. Therefore we can't release the version for 3.81. But 4.0 will be available in english and german. For 3.81 there is a fanamde translation with google translator, which helps a lot of people to understand the mod.
Wow.. could you be more disrespectful Thorvaldo? As far as I can understand they are from Germany and german is their primary language. No one is forcing you to play this mod at all. If you don't like the mod - then don't vote.
Hey, first of all, i wasn't trying to be disrespectful. I'm just saying that version 3.8.1 has many years and they never released a patch or something trying to translate the mod so everybody could understand. They release news and updates all in perfect english, and they couldn't release a patch with a translation in more than 2 years? (The Fan-made translation is horrible haha) That's what bothers me. Nothing more. I love mods, i like your work very much, but why should we vote them? They haven't released anything in this year, or in the previous year. I wish you luck, nonetheless, but without my vote.
As I've said we worked hard on the english version for edain mod 4.0. At th beginning we wanted to translate 3.8.1, but after starting the work on 4.0 we realized that we would need about 1-2 years to translate it and afterwards we wouldn't be able to use 90% of the work, therefore we have decided to start translating version 4.0, while modding on it - that way we can give you an english version directly at the release.
I can understand that it is sad for you, as you can't speak german, but we also don't have endless time.^^ I have copied the whole text files in microsoft word a few months ago and the amount was really huge. The length of the file was about 1000 pages. You can't translate this within a few weeks, if you also have other things to do.^^
It's true that we haven't released anything this year, but as you might see we are coming closer to a release of the next version with every update. You don't have to vote for us, as I can understand your reasons. Hopefully the next version will persuade you to vote for us in the next year(s). :)
Haha We'll see about that! :P Sorry if i was rude, i'm just angry cause i can't play it right now, because of the language issue, and i really want to play it, and that's frustrating :( In fact i'm argentinian, my mother language is spanish, and i can handle english pretty well thanks to the yankee propaganda in my country (or all over the world actually) but, you know, maybe if germany would have won the 2nd world war i would be speaking german instead of this yankee english, but yeah, you just have to deal with it haha

I have to say, it is possible to enjoy this mod, even if you have to deal with language-related problems. My mother language -as yours- is Spanish, and I have never learnt anything about German. As you may imagine, I had no idea about what was going on when I started to play, but I made an effort and I quickly understood how Edain Mod worked.
