These are the basic units of the Rivendell faction in full gear. They are the most powerful basic units in the game, but very expensive and few in number. Since they are veterans of many battles and have honed their skills for centuries, they are already at the peak of their abilities when recruited and do not gain any more experience in battle. They can, however, learn new strategies and skills from the Rivendell loremasters and grant leadership to all nearby allies when upgraded with a banner carrier.
For the upcoming version 3.5, they have received a complete visual overhaul, consisting of more detailed models and a fantastic skin donated to Edain by Eldarion. Many thanks :)
