"The design was based and inspired on various european cultures." Like greek?
Give him a round shield, a little shorter spear, and ABS and we'll have Carn Dum Hoplite!

What about leaving these long spears and having thus a decent and iconic Total War phalanx? :P

If you are creating an own design, you have to think about the military aspect: Tolkien's middle earth treated primarily the style of European Cultures. So finally yes, its oriented in some greek elements, with a tradition european Tabard. In addition the whole design based on known elements from the Lord of the Rings and the style of EA Games Angmar.
They should look like a "dark" mix between medieval crusaders and greek hoplites.

good morning I think, nice design, but I think that is put aside, several points First the tribes of men of Angmar are in my opinion the north, like barbarians, and all the implications of the case are men accustomed to cold I would be inclined, but as a pathfinder design style, corrupted by evil examples

second type of weapons in general halberds that usually do not focus on the variety and evolution of the same but in medieval times this would be pretty nice design for the race of Numenor or perhaps the same Arnor, silver

You have misunderstood the intent behind these units. They arent nordic barbarians, they are fallen Dunedain, who got corrupted by the witchking and his servants, with their own culture and intentions. The one that you meant to be some "pathfinder" units are the Hillmen from Rhudaur: wild enslaved people who only follow their own instincts.

While it looks awesome, I agree that the Iron Crown Trident was a really nice little touch. If you do the Pike, it would be lovely to see that again, but if they are going to be like Tower Guards, a shield might also be a nice addition.

They were? How come? I thought they demonstrated the dominion of the Iron Crown quite nicely. Well, I don't mind that much, I was just curious mate :P.

Really nice remake of the Carn Dûm units!

In my humble opinion the old trident pike looks less useful in battle.
