Endlessly roaming through the Space, an alien fleet is closing to a blue planet. Its inhabitants, blissfully unaware of the upcoming threat, are struggling with the chaos they have to face everyday. And yet, it will all soon change. The world will finally become united against a common enemy. The Earth will never be the same anymore. But what will this war bring? Do the humans stand any chance against such a foe? Will everyone willingly join to fight the alien thread? And why, do the aliens seem to look so human-like?...
Hovering slightly above the terrain, Rethans sweep over the ground with their tentacles, absorbing energy from any living being that comes nearby. They are also capable of absorbing Crystalline, but have to return to the base after they drain a certain amount.
They will instantly reappear in the base once fully "loaded".
Vintarid harvester unit right? Pretty cool
Yes, it's a harvester unit, although it can (and should) be also used offensively to get funds.
So it has Bounty Logic (or something of that function) attached to it (like the Scavenger from MO 2.0 but gets more 'funds' by eating units then harvesting). BTW how does the AI act with this unit, does it just send it to a crystal field to maintain income or does it send it to actively hunt units like the units from, or does it do a little of both?
The AI will just use it as a regular harvester. If something attacks it, it might use it to get some funds of the attackers, but it will happen only by accident. The cash that it would get from it is miniscule compared to what it gets otherwise anyway.
It's still normal a harvester, just with some limitations to force the players to be aggressive.
