Full Version 2 commentsVersion 1.1. Just place both files in your Defcon folder where your current Defcon.exe file is.
This is a mod of Defcon that allows you to change tons of unit stats by editing a text file including:
Health, Speed, Radar Range, Attack Range, Attack Probabilities, Fire Rate, Number of Nukes, Number of Fighters, Number of bombers, Starting installation number, Mode Change Time, Turn Rate, (Cost and starting credits)
as well as
Defcon Allowed actions, Defcon times,
One cool aspect is it will reload the settings file every time you make a new lobby, so you don't need to restart the game to make changes. It will let you know in the chat if there is a syntax error in your settings file as well. It will also state the hash of the settings file so two players can be confident they are playing with the same settings.
It also fixes a few bugs with aircraft:
* Fighters used to not shoot at nearby targets if they had an existing command (move or attack)
* Aircraft fuel ranges didn't get updated based on the world scale (even though the airbase indicated they did)
