The year is 2055, more than thirty years after the events of Zero Hour, Earth suffers a catastrophic collision with meteorites. The mod European Conflict is set in a different timeline to realiity. In this timeline technology evlolved at a faster rate, hence the widespread use of railguns and other technologies.

The gun looks too simple for a railgun...
if you just put some complicated skin on it maybe it wont
maybe railguns ARE simple
I didn't desing it to be a railgun, I designed it as a gauss gun...
Yeah, that's true and we got it wrong.
So in the end we decided to remodel the unit entirely so it has a genuine railgun.
As usual we'll reveal the new model/skin eventually. :P
