This mod consists of a transformation of some of Dark Crusade characteristics by adding more techs, including the powerful Veteran tech, new units and abilities that make all races different from the ones in the original Dark Crusade. Some of the new features of this mod include aircraft abilities, like thunderhawks dropping bombs on the battlefield or valkyries bombing a target. This mod is still in the early phases of development, so stay tunned for updates.
"Almost all Inquisitors maintain an inner circle of bodyguards and warriors. Where these individuals are recruited from depends upon the character of the Inquisitor, and the nature of his work. Some Inquisitors induct from only the most gloried institutions of the
Adeptus Terra; the Schola Progenium, the Skitarii Legions or the Chambers Militant of the Ecclesiarchy. Others prefer the knife-edge reactions and gutter instincts of bounty hunters, underhive mutants and rogue frontiersmen. No matter where or how they are recruited, these Acolytes must exhibit exceptional qualities or resilience, determination and loyalty to their master, for they will be entrusted with many terrible tasks and are expected to excel in their completion."
The Acolytes used by an Inquisition need to fulfill a diverge set of functions, from bodyguards to spies, assassins to mere soldiers of a large force and so on. This means the acolytes seen around an Inquisitor will often differ from Inquisitor to Inquisitor and even with a single Inquisitor different types of acolytes will exist.
This concept focuses on lightly armoured melee focused acolytes likely with a previous Imperial Guard background.
