Day of Defeat

Day of Defeat (a.k.a. DoD) is the latest online action experience from Valve, makers of Half-Life and Counter-Strike. Stationed in the heart of WWII's European Theater of Operations, players join the ranks of an elite military squad entrenched in battle.
Each team has several "player classes," that give each squad member a unique role. These include scout, infantry, sergeant, machine gunner, and more, each with a unique arsenal of historical weaponry at their disposal.
Day of Defeat includes an expansive collection of missions based on key historical battles. And a near infinite number of additional missions, created by the online development community, are available for download.
As war rages, squads must battle as a unit to achieve victory.

If anybody’s interested i am starting to make waypoints after not doing it for years for the dod bots.(played dod offline off and on for years now (still a fan even though i have dod source )and amazingly still do on lan with a friend..its still lots of fun )because its still a great game and there seems like nobody’s doing them anymore. i am sure i can start a great dod bot revival. there’s still life left in this game =)just feel there’s an empty shelf or can fill a empty void that’s been vacant in the dod world as there is stil no bots in dod source so you encouragement would be nice =) i will prob be realising the mod for the bots soon too.

I HATE DOD:S,
Old school DOD is best, but no one plays it!!!!!!!!
there are always servers with people in them
I think this is alot better then DOD:S. DoD:S has nothing new to bring to the table but better graphics and less bugs. People always seem to forget about the orignals and big up the new versions.
the origenal DoD was excelent for its time but now DoD:S is better :P
DoD source owns anyway. fighting is so much more fierce and all the guns kick ass
LoL, that doesn't make it dead.
There are still plenty of servers to play on and this mod is still damned fun!
