This mod adds towards the realism of the game, to suit the tabletop. this is like Dawn of War 2 for those people who either can't be bothered to buy it or can't run it on their computer.
A planned mod for simple modifications, my first DoW mod and its pretty small. Here are plans, by faction. this is for true 40k fans who realised some odd things about Space Marines being weak and fast and carrying machine guns -_-
Space Marines and Sisters of Battle
Expensive, tough and small but elite squads. - DONE
Bolters changed to fire more realisticly (any real WH40k fan will realise that the bolters are like machine guns in DoW)
Space Marines have more armor and are tougher but are also slower and more expensive.. -DONE
Imperial Guard
Weak, and cheap, mass production infantry. - DONE
Strong but expensive tanks and vehicles. - DONE
Higher rate of fire and more accurate lasguns (according to unit type) - DONE
Eldar and Dark Eldar - by Count Bagatur
Fast and Elite, but expensive infantry. -DONE
Fast but weak tanks and vehicles. - DONE
Orks
Easy to produce, cheap and tough at close combat, but suck at range. - DONE
Vehicles are weak and cheap to buy with good speed. - DONE
Tau
Powerful ranged attack units. Elite but expensive infantry.
Elite but expensive tanks.
Necrons
Small elite forces with firepower. what they lack in squad size, they bring back in firepower.
Expensive.
Guns changed to fire less rapidly, but with more damage.
Immolator setup time changed and immolator gun made more armor piercing.
Chaos
Cultists are mass produced, weak and inaccurate, but can be upgraded to have better guns (lasguns rather then pistols) and weapons training (more accuracy)
Chaos Space Marines are elite and expensive.
Elite Demon units cost more.
Thats it, any ideas to help me would be nice

Hi there!
I've been looking forward for this mod for quite some time now.
When i first saw the announcement some time ago when it first appeared i really thought that it will be a great mod. I'm not a big fan of those mods with many different types of troops and skills (though they are great) it's just not my type. I like to keep the RTS style and wanted to feel a bit different game-play.
I thought this mod was it for me but judging from the long delay should i give up my hopes of playing this mod in the neat future?
Thank you.

I lost all the files when my computer required a restart to remove a dangerous virus. i need to reinstall Dawn of War and the Corsix mod studio, then redo all the files.
Aren't the bolts in bolters supposed to explode inside their target? so shouldn't that mean there should be a small chance of knocking down the target?
Hi all. Good mod. I think, after two months of development we create best realism mod for SS.
Two months? Uh... if you guys want I can do all of your needs up in an hour.
Actually, if anything Chaos is even fewer in numbers and even more elite than the loyalist marines, because of their individualistic nature and many centuries spent fighting in the Eye of Terror. The cultists sound about right though, they're just meatshields, distractions and sacrifices.
Also, Ork vehicles are, for the most part, anything but tough. They're ramshackle scrapyards on wheels that are prone to all sorts of malfunctions. This also would make them cheap though.
But that's just my two cents as a Warhammer 40K fan and regular tabletop player.
i'll get to changing it.
Could be good. Curious to see how it turns out. Think trying to balance it will be the real challenge.
