Designed to work for DarkPlaces and the Zircon Engine
A conservative "high definition" replacement set for the menu, monsters and weapons/items -- each of these 3 in a separate pk3 in the event a user desires only a specific set. For the monsters, these are simply "AI image upscales" for the original monsters so they look nicer on modern displays. The menu is a crisp gold originating from JoeQuake (joequake.runecentral.com) but made compatible with DarkPlaces. The weapons/items are a combination of slightly modified work from the nQuake set (Ruohis/PrimeviL principal authors) and Rygel's DarkPlaces set -- the modifications to these largely are adjusting the bright colors of the armor to match the same colors/hue of the originals in Quake and to the extent possible, altering the texture path inside models to the same folder as the model.

Hello everyone, when I play "Mission Pack 1 - Scourge of Armagon" of Quake 1 in Darkplaces mod, one of the two glitches appears in the game like the Centroid stuck in the ceiling when the door with a red cross opens on the level "HIP1M2 - Storage Facility".
The other glitches consists of missing items/power-ups throughout the following levels, that is when I reach the level "HIP1M4 - Research Facility" and I cross into a room where exists a Quad Damage power-up, there is no silver key where it's supposed to be and I can't proceed the game to the end.
I would be grateful if some off you could give me some pointers on how to fix these game errors.
Sorry I didn't see this until very recently.
I don't much use "official DarkPlaces" for gameplay, I created the modified Zircon engine based on DarkPlaces to fix and improve DarkPlaces.
Zircon Engine: Moddb.com
DarkPlaces has a bad drop to floor default setting that might be causing this issue for you -- sv_gameplayfix_droptofloorstartsolid 1 -- might fix the issue.
sv_gameplayfix_droptofloorstartsolid 1 is the default setting in Zircon Engine ("DarkPlaces Mark V Project").
It is not clear why sv_gameplayfix_droptofloorstartsolid 0 was made the default setting in DarkPlaces as it seems to only cause problems.
