This Ivanhoe-styled Crusader mod's backbone is the Crusader Deus Vult mod created by Feyd1979.
The mod contains:
- accurate map of the Holy Land
- historical lords, kings
- 6 brand-overhauled nations as: Kingdom of Jerusalem; it's sub-nation: County of Tripoli; the Principality of Antioch; the byzantine lands in Asia Minor: named Roman Empire in game; and the two muslim states: the Fatimid Caliphate (Egypt) and the Seljuke Sulatanate (Turks).
- historically accurate troops
- tons of new items, as usual in my mods
- very intense crusader-feeling
- some crusader banners
- more horses (normal-and armored)
- improoved male and female faces
- DIPLOMACY
- PBOD mod
- extended companions - with new, mortal NPCs system

ahh i fixed it by copying Lamellar_armor_elite and rename the copied texture to Lamellar_armor_elite3 and it works not sure if its the correct armor it looks pretty Byzantine to me anyways I hope I fixed it and I hope this will help other's having trouble with Ivan's great mods if Ivan wants i can upload the small fix file if needed. thanks man for your lord of the rings mod and crusader mod glade you put the Byzantines other wise it would not be fun without them.
plus the Byzantines were involved in the crusades has it would restore old roman territories. if the Byzantines demand their old Imperial lands back.

Hello it seems like this mod is quite dead but i had a question (hope you can answer it) i captured 12 muslims lords and none of them has been ransomned in three month... is this a feature of the mod or just a bug?

Ivanhoe I hope you are still interested in working on this mod, its still fav of mine. The helm you are looking for appears to be a masked kipchak helmet, so thats what your looking for. Hope that helps a little. I think i found it actually Mbrepository.com
Is this mod dead?
Not a big fan. It's mostly a retexture, some numbers were changed, but there are still things from the original game (I found Kheright armor, a Wercheg bandit and some other stuff), some pictures of cities go over buttons, most of photos were directly stripped off that one movie that I forgot the name of. Overall I don't find this mod super fun. There are naked people too (which, you know, is not why I came to mount and blade for) and some other crap.
Of course there good things in the mod too, like the map (which however is not accurately positioned considering the cardinal points) and the rename of soldiers.
Coming back to this, I realize that some of the things I've written here are a bit overkill, but still those over-sized photos in the city menus make it* difficult as hell to read.
Also, the naked thing is just a problem with being in, you know, a family so it's kinda awkward playing this mod.
*edit: I initially wrote 'are' instead of 'make it'
Gee, its like the vanilla game didn't base any of its items off real world counter parts.
