For Crossfire 1.8 we did a complete overhaul of the Freelancer graphics. Thousands of new textures, hundreds of new effects, new shaders, bloom, reflections, bump mapping, dynamic nebulas with real dust, fluid space, new explosions, new light effects, dynamic lighting, new missile effects and thousands of visual improvements.

We also made sure that those visiual changes don't cause any unwanted side effects.
