Contra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game and one of the first mods for this game. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers and buildings. It also adds new sounds, maps, bug fixes, enhanced graphics, and other effects, as well as three new generals.
The left one is the default Hound. The right one is upgraded with flash-bang grenades.
Hound Droid is USA Cybernetic general's anti-infantry drone, available at rank 1. Can be upgraded with flash-bang grenades, which increase the effectiveness of Hound. It's fast, but poorly armored. Performs at its best in hit-n-run.
Hound will replace the Sentry Droid for Cybernetic general only. Sentry Droid's model will be used only for the radar and will be recognizable, unlike in 007. There is one change in statistics. Ifs rate of fire was reduced, because of balance.

Of course. The only things you see in the updates are models and maps. There are a lot of changes since 007. Many bug fixes, balance adjustments have already been done and graphics are planned to be improved (trees and water). Don't hesitate to ask questions.

Do you mean tech buildings? There is one new civilian capturable building in 008 - Moddb.com
New capturable buildings are not planned yet but this doesn't mean that there won't be new ones.

Many projectiles from Zero Hour were remodelled in Contra. You can see them in 007 too.

ive never been able to play games online becusae i cant figure out how to and i guess no one plays lol. so flashbangs have never been useful cusae computer never garrisons buildings
How can you tell that no one plays when you haven't checked out? There are 50+ players at once in Tunngle every day. Tunngle is free - Tunngle.net
Flash-bang grenades also boost Hounds' damage. And there is blast damage. Remember that they damage non-garrisoned infantry as well.
