Contra is a freeware modification for Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour real-time strategy game and one of the first mods for this game. It adds many new units as well as numerous new upgrades, new general's powers and buildings. It also adds new sounds, maps, bug fixes, enhanced graphics, and other effects, as well as three new generals.

China Iron Fist mortar
Woody completed skining of new 3D model for Iron Fist mortar. The model had been made long ago, but all this time it was waititg its turn. Now it is completed. It will replace old Iron Fist model.

I remember when the Iron fist was actually feared on the battle field, now it's a joke!

and if purshased thermobaric rounds it beats a moab
wtf it aint feared if used a bit good it can easily kill a shitan
1. You used to be able to build overlord style add-on. Speaker tower and Gatling cannons for example.
2. It had more armour.
3. You can no longer choose between Firestorm or Thermobaric warheads. Once you've upgraded to thermobaric, that's it. Good luck, when it tries to 'help' defend your units with a thermobaric shell.
4. The double round bug, that often happened, has been fixed.
The iron fist is ok now. It was much better before, no question.

Tbh this is one of the few models in contra i dislike. It looks like a steam-punk vehicle in a renaissance themed game. I think i liked the design of the old one alot more than this. A huge WW1 cannon on a ovie chassie is not exactly my ideea of a ultimate unit. And i agree with Madin about the advantages it lost. I think a redesign is needed, and the whole cannon/turret design needs a more modern look.
is 8 regular barrels on a ovie chassis enough then?
or how bout a double nuke cannon with extra health its jsut as good as all the other i think i kinde like this one even better its more a strategic warfare tank then the shitan wich just pufurizes everything in its range
