Conflict in the Hood is a modification for Enemy Territory:Quake Wars that mainly focuses on street gangs throughout North America. Our goal is to create a full conversion mod by setting it in the “hoodish” areas of large known cities. We want to give a very good impression on how it is like having to deal with violence in the streets. In the mod you will see such famous street gangs, like the Bloods and Crips. The weapons will be those that you might find in a typical gang type warfare, from knife blades to machine guns. Not only will this mod have gangs, but also a police faction. The faction will have police officers as well as some members of a SWAT team. We try to be as realistically accurate as possible from a gang member or police officer’s standpoint. The maps will be based on real places such as California and New York.
