Full of goodies and updates. Such as the new Marine faction!
(buried)
MARSOC operatives.
If you look at the shoulder patch they are US Navy SEAL team six or DEVGRU. I believe they use the new US Navy AOR2 digital woodland camouflage instead of the old Woodland. Can anyone confirm they still use woodland?
The title of this image is "seals_marsoc.png" but the Navy SEAL's aren't a part of the MARSOC structure so the guys up front are probably the SEAL's and the guys in the background are MARSOC Force Recon marines. Issue solved.
Dude
Force Recon and MARSOC are completely different.
MARSOC = a socom branch, works with other special forces (Seals, Green Berets, 75th Rangers, and/or 160rh SOAR), they also get a lot more high speed gear, marine officers out of the socom chain do not get a say in the mission of the MARSOC, like they do with Force Recon.
Force Recon = a marine branch, workings ONLY with marines... Also in recent times they are small, and do not get too much to play with.
there is such thing as a MARSOC Force Recon marine.
Nobody cares anymore.
I wonder which role call this unit because I'm try close quarter. The green beret unit seem to be missing when I'm try with usmc is this for airborne ?
MARSOC replaces the airborne when playing as the USMC
SEALS replace the Green Berets when playing as the USMC
SEALs and Green Berets should be furnished D10RS HK416's instead of MP7A1's. Most engagements nowadays are from a longer range, even though there is still presence of CQB. The shorter barrel of the D10RS variant makes it more adaptable to CQB than other variants while still keeping almost the same muzzle velocity than the usual variant, the D14.5RS, which has a bullet velocity of about 945 m/s (9x19mm PDW's and handguns usually have a velocity of about 400 m/s and are heavier, making 5.56 rounds easier to carry). So in other words, the HK416 seems a better choice for the SEALs and Green Berets (although to stay faithful to Real life it should be 1st SFOD-D replacing Green Berets and SEALs should be DEVGRU) due to its versatility.
