“Evolution of Combat” (formerly known as Combat Evolved) is a mod aspiring to provide the best movie-like lightsaber combat ever seen in a video game.
It features a new saber system that is based on slow-paced duels with manual blocking and contains some of the best models and maps available for Jedi Academy. To bring the Star Wars experience to perfection, JA's unrealistic sound effects are replaced.

Guess what - Combat Evolved (Evolution of Combat) makes great progress and will be released as a public beta in September 2009!
The first release will include the new, original saber system (hopefully bug-free) together with new graphics and sound effects. Also, a bunch of high quality models and maps will be included.
One more thing: If you are into Jedi Academy HUD development, make sure to contact us. We could use your help since we want the HUD to be as beautiful as possible.
Also, a second trailer is in the works which will be released in the next few weeks.

Guys.im looking for some beta testers for a mulyiplayer mod i have been develpoing with an exelent mod maker and coder know as "STOISS".Im sure many of you have seen his Moddb.com project is still secret to within an extent.i can revieal the sabersystem will have blocking and is almost identical to mb2.Other features will be revealed to the testers only, until compleation of this mod.
This mod will be a multiplayer online so a good net speed is helpfull.
Requirements :
Only "known" members of the jedi academy community need apply.
people with experiance of moviebattles sabersystem will be given priority.(i will explain why to the applicants).
applicants should also be compitent with base jka sabersystem and ojp sabersystem.(experianced people only).
people with modding skills who can give constructive,helpfull hints and suggestions will be most welcome.
if you feel you are the person described above and wish to get involved as a tester in something new and cool,please send me or STOISS a PM .

what do you think is slow ? the swings ? or what ?
well at the atm i have incress the sabercomabt alot it has a nice block/parry and clashsystem now pretty semi to OJp'E mod.. and has become a lot harder to learn to parry and block in the game.. but when you getting better and know the buttons you can keep a fight on for some time wich is a good thing.. i do hope that i soon can have a new video out for this site here to show my work :)
it would be even more nice when you make that faster it's a bit slow now :)
