Cold War: Reborn mod for Half-Life 2

Cold War: Reborn is a single and multi-player mod for Half-Life 2. It will feature futuristic yet realistic weapons and vehicles. It will feature advanced battlefields set in different cities around the world with hundreds of AI around you, allies and enemies.

Background

By the year 2013, Russia was in a state of absolute chaos. Every drop of its resources had been used, the economy had collapsed, and most people were living in complete poverty. Since it had left the UN in 2009, other countries had refused to help and no aid entered the country. On July 24th, the rebellion began. Communists exiled from Russia had returned, stirring anger and hatred among the Russian civilians. Revolution was around the corner, so the President had no other option other than to resign.

A new communist leader came to power, Comrade Vladimir Poparov . The US quickly intervened, promising that if Russia extended its borders, military action would be taken. But Poparov did not listen. Even before getting in power, he already had his plans to reform the USSR. Shortly, the USSR had been reborned. First, the USA declared war on the Reds, soon all the countries of NATO had promised to support the US in the war. Soon troops from every country were preparing for a full blown nuclear war. The Cold War had just got a lot hotter...
