Yes, the icon represents a soldier's class.Rifleman,Medic etc.

cause they have identification icons above there heads as well :D
hm, is there any way to prevent the icons becoming bigger when zooming in? You know, just like all the icon layers for veterancy and class normally do.

did you get the idea from cnc3? coz cnc3 also has icons depending on the infantry class: 2bullet-icon for riflemen, rocket icon for anti-tank infantry, cross hair for snipers and so on..
so what version do i need do i need 1.5 or 1.6
