Ostheer will be able to deploy Tigers when choosing Elite Army Tree.
Tigers will come with four random skins, three of them courtesy of Rain and VanAdrian, and one from Widowmaker.

Yes. However the Tiger will be like the Panther, not really good to fight infantry.

Hmmm, the Tigers that you deploy with the Wehrmacht absolutely shred infantry. Balance purposes I suppose?

You are probably right, but this is only for fun. It seems people these days have little sense of humor. =(
To be honest, I have no idea of which one was better, I am not an expert of WW2 weapons.
However, according to Uncle Joe's philosophy, the bigger (in this case, the gun) is always better. >:D
In case you don't know, "Uncle Joe" was how Winston Churchill called Joseph Stalin.
The 88mm had better accuracy at long ranges, while the 122mm had worse accuracy at long, but was decent at medium and short ranges. Nonetheless a PanzerIV hit by this shell would loose its turret immediatly.
At a range of 1000m the combat performance of the Panther and IS2 was similar (at least what wiki says)
Thanks, I was thinking more about the 122mm of the much later T-10 heavy tanks in the Cold War instead of WW2 122mm guns. I always makes the mistake of evaluating WW2 stuff with more or less modern standard.
The 8.8 cm l/51 had better penetrating ability then the 122mm, right?
Why is the Tiger not good against infantry?!? He has 3 MGs!
Its ridicilous to expect bullets from three machine guns to damage infantry.
