Everything's better on pairs! image - Company of Heroes: Eastern Front mod for Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts
Eastern Front is a free mod for Company of Heroes. Following the ethos of mimicking a Relic Entertainment expansion pack, Eastern Front has succeeded in adding two full new factions, the Soviet Red Army and the German Ostheer, packed with unique and exciting units to the existing armies - a feat never before achieved in the Company of Heroes world.
After reading the description of today's first updated image, you might wonder what would be happening to the Observer Team... is it going to disappear? And the answer is no.
The Observer Team(left) will be put as reward unit for the Gaz 43 so, in case your strategy works better with the former, feel free to swap it.
Also, in this image we can see an old friend coming back... the Sniper Team(right) will replace the regular Sniper, and this time he comes to stay. As we become more experienced, we were able to fix the balance issues that this unit got in the past, we have been working on it several months ago, and it was included in the beta since the beginning IIRC. So far there is no issue with it so you can expect to use it on Eastern Front 2.0.0.0 that will come on moddb in the future ;).

Will the squad be affected if one of the members dies (aside from not being able to use the sniper rifle)?

If the soldier with the sniper rifle dies, the other keeps the rifle :).
When will the Romanian, Italian and Hungarian armies will be released(v2.0 alongside Ostheer)?

I hope we can release them on v2.0, but we need to plan how to make the reward faction, and that's the third thing to achieve, being the first one to finish Ostheer assets and the second to finish Soviets models. Talking about 2D/3D workload of course.
If you ask for the exact release date, we don't have one.
Will you ever give the americans some more units? since they have like the smallest amount of diversity?

Well, the thing is that we are committed to make the Eastern Front mod, and Americans and British do not belong there :(. We still have them along but we don't mod them unless we require to fix something.
RMC is something different though... but we are not going to make anything similar for US in the future :(. We have enough work with Ostheer, campaigns and we will have more when dealing with RMC XD.
