Just like Kane's Vision, this mod aims to perfect the gameplay experience of Kane's Wrath. With countless new faction unique upgrades and units, this is a comprehensive overhaul of this already great game. Every change that was introduced in this mod was with quality gameplay in mind and do justice to the lore of the factions. So, for those who can't be bothered to read the (admittedly long) description. Traveler-59 will gain 2 new assets for the next version:

- T2 "Phantasm Device" Tank
Devourer counterpart with longer range, no charge but more damage and speed. It cannot fire on the move but can create copies of itself.

- T3 "Phantom Army" Support Power
Basically a copy of Nod's "Decoy Army"

The moment i first read the unit's information, i first thought it was Reaper-17 whos gunna have it due they use heavy firepower while Traveler-59 are known as speed + Hit & Run tactics. But yeah cant wait to try this out :)

Interesting. Over time I created my own interpretation of the factions. It's interesting to see that Traveler is among the factions that have changed the least in how the faction is perceived since then.

yeah, after plenty of enjoyed gameplay and researching on the factions.. i had thoughts that it wouldve been better if Reaper-17 didnt have any speed upgrades while make that exclusive to Traveler, due it would make sense of why EA gave exclusive to Traveler 'Advanced Articulators' + 'Traveler Engines' & 'Temporal Wormhole' support power. Its also why it came into my head about a thought when i begin reading about the new Phantasm Device Tank that thought it was gunna be for Reaper-17 as their Artilery due they dont have Air units before i then realised its for traveler xD. But yeah lets see how it turns out in future due i'm looking forward to it

So the phantom army is a copy of nod's decoy army, but will they do damage or are they also just literally decoy copies?

Just copies. They don't deal damage. It is more of an escape mechanism or to draw fire towards the decoys.

While I give this a thumbs up I was thinking that shouldn't Reaper get something like this? Seeing as how they don't get a long ranged artillery unit (unless that's what one of the DT's mutations is supposed to provide?) just Traveller does get the Devastator which is a flying artillery unit.

Description

Commander, worrying reports from Commanders in Red Zones claim the Scrin's sect renewed ambition im psychic warfare.
We receive more and more data from Scrin frontlines which claim that the Scrin have succeeded in creating lifelike hallucinations of their army, multiplying their numbers drastically at a glance.
While these so called "phantom armies" cannot physically harm any troops and collapse once they are attacked, the psycological effect for many soldiers still persist.

Moreover, sightings of what seems like a bigger version of the Traveler's Seeker Tank have been made recently as well.
Evalutions of this new device are still in progress but many commanders already report this unit harnessing the exact same technology which creates these phantom armies.
Commanders of smaller forces are recommended to avoid these so called "Phantasm Devices", as their strong long range neutron beams can cause heavy damage on lighter armored vehicles.

Various sighting of this unit suggest its weapon being so power demanding that it cannot fire while moving. Furthermore, this unit is reported to be seen teleporting from one point to another instantaneously.
Both observations have yet to be confirmed.

In terms of gameplay the Phantasm Device will serve as the Traveler-59's equivalent to the Devourer Tank. While being faster and having longer range, it cannot charge its fire and cannot fire on the move.
Moreover, this unit can be upgraded with "Advanced Telesets" and also create a decoy of itself which lasts for a short amount of time.

"Phantom Army" is a Traveler-59 support power, which is functionally the same as the Nod faction's Decoy Army. It is unlocked with a Tech Assembler.
