This Mod totally changes Serious Sam 2 to feel more "serious". It is not directly the re-creation of SS1 FE/SE - The Main-Features are: - more than 22 new Enemies: Re-creation of all Enemies in SS1 FE/SE + Ugh-Zan III (last boss) and Huge Lava-Golem -Weapons changed: To feel like Serious Sam 1 Weapons. Big, Hard and unforgiveable. -All new Special-Effects: Explosions, Gore etc -All new Sounds: Alot original sounds from Serious Sam 1 -new game-options: Enemies-Multiplicator & Spawn-Time-Reducing (recommend to play the original maps & Selectable Weapon-Speed (comfortable setting or true original speed from SS1) -about 20 new Weather-effects for Levels that looked so plain and should have them: Rain, Snow, Lightings, Flying Leaves, Ashe-Rain, Dust-Clouds, Fog-Clouds Ball-Lightings, Ambience Sounds, Thunders, Metroids, Insects.. -2 new maps: Arcade Map 01 & Huge Enemies Test-map with +1650 Enemies -All the feel of the Game is modified so hard to be like the game was developed for...

Make sure you corner the base off so then the players only defend from the one side. The Walls have to be high enough but the enemies gotta find a way over it, perhaps they climb up? Or Jump? Or even a destroyable gate(s) for them to get through. Just brainstorming really to give you better ideas, but i'm not really sure how well equipped the engine is for destroyable doors and what have you.

erm? Oh yeah the movies watched =D

Do the enemies respawn? Or will you be adding that to the map later?

One last imporatant note, there has to be 1 big Spider or something lol to really scare the players. Its just the way in these "survival" type games lol. You gotta have some giant to be scared of.

Great demo video.

A destructible Gate is a good idea. I think in the Movie they climb over the Walls. I was thinking to let them enter on a flat staircase style thing.

I wanted to have them enter from every Side (in the movie?). But yeah, i realized that this is very hard. Best solution maybe is to have one Gate (or similar) where they enter and after a while they crush more Gates down and open more sides.

The Enemies respawn, because this is the only solution to fake thousands of them Attacking you.

Yeah of course, there will be something big. But it will be behind you (surprise) ;)

(There is this weird Worm thing coming out of a Hole in a SS2 Map. Real shame the back part is missing, but maybe they can be used to one of these giant Worms)

Description

This is the exact same Map as the ST_test Screenshot.

A Motion Video to show a bit the 'feel'.
Pretty long (at 6 min), showing 2 dif. cases.
There are about 80 Monster onscreen at the same time. Sometime not good to see, because they are tight together, Additionally comes about 40% FPS loss due the recording.

I have not seen the Movie in a long time ! But this is how my Memories are.

The Map is pure temporary, the final Map will look like the Base in Starship Troopers.
