Oct 03, 2008 Multiplayer Map 0 commentsOne of the upcoming maps of the 0.9 update - now available for public testing (final, finished version). Works in the current version of the mod.
Sam’s back in a serious way. His new sequel, which is built on a brand new graphics engine (featuring 100 times more complex environments) keeps all the gun toting unserious fun of the first Serious Sam and brings it to a level more in touch to modern gamers. Croteam has evidently listened to what gamers have to say about Sam, because in addition to graphics enhancements Croteam has upped the gameplay as well. Players can expect to drive vehicles, a new addition to the franchise. Shown at e3 is a off-road vehicle of sorts, although we can expect more. Serious Sam 2 has 7 environments, and over 40 large levels for players to enjoy an action packed comical adventure in.

Awesome game :D
Hope my computer can handle SS3
Whilst I think the 1st and 2nd Encounters were better,I think this would be good for a mod of EPIC proportions. And to anyone who dislikes Serious Sam:Shut up and let us play!
It misses something serious sam had.... perhaps it's the graphics. They now look so good it's not fun anymore. In part 1, I had no trouble believing in a 10,000,000,000 foot lizard, since it looked pixily and badly shaded... now, it would look like it actualy could exist, and that isn't as fun anymore....
I also think the weapons are too.... alien. In part 1, you would recocnize stuff, in part 2, it's all just strange.
But it still offers a hell of a lot of fun shooting a 'cronan the librarian' :P . Too bad there where no ragdoll physics though.
This game couldn't be called a masterpiece, but it is immensely fun. Blow away hundreds of monsters type of fun :D
If u like to kill alot of monsters u going to like Serious Sam 2. XD
Feh... you got the demo? My crew here must be the only ones who don't play Demos anymore...
On the game itself, SS2 was great, COOP is even better.
Man the demo absolutely sucked hard, like it could suck a golf ball through garden hose, thats how hard it sucked. i mean it would have been incredibly better on PS2 or Xbox. i mean i jut cant comprehend how cap it was. but i cant say anything cos ive never made a game, just put flying dots in 1943
If you played it you'd know how pwnage it is jackass
I don't have to play to see how gay this is.
This shows why sequels should not change so much, leave them to new games
